The color palette in my town is gray, grayer, brown, beige, white, bland.....
I took a walk with my camera yesterday trying to find something, anything, to indicate winter's over.
Believe it or not, there's still snow around:

Most of the trees are still closed up tight:

The tree I photographed in February (exactly two months ago) seems like it's finally budding:

And then, FINALLY, a teeny splash of green:

I'm still not putting away my sweaters just yet. After just a couple of years here, I've seen that Mother Nature is more like Mommie Dearest.
