Beach Baking Bingo

Yes, it's still hot, but it didn't break eighty today, so why not bake?
Sometimes I'd rather have a muffin and iced coffee for dinner, so now I can.



These are Ina Garten's Blueberry Coffee Cake Muffins. Moist and yummy.

During my mom's illness, I kept having the urge to bake. It became a calming experience, which is weird because although I love to cook, I've never been much of a baker.

Mom's gone a couple of months now and I still get the urge to call her. Whenever I have a great celebrity "sighting", it's just so natural to want to pick up the phone. Mom's still in my cell phone directory and I don't have the heart to take it off there yet.
