Charity begins at home
Got my Stitches from the Heart newsletter last week. This is the charity based here in L.A., that sends hats and blankets for preemies and newborns to hospitals all over the country.
In this latest issue, on their wish list, they hoped that each member would make them six hats. Well, I plan to help make their wish come true. You can, too.
Even if you're a beginner, you can do it. The first things I made when I started knitting again were baby hats. They fast, fun and so cute. I even sent a note with my first batch apologizing that my seaming wasn't perfect and got a lovely note back saying they were great and on their way to some sweet little babe.
So, knit 'em up. Send them in. Poof! You're a member. Easy as that.
