For those of you who live in L.A. and see that mattress commercial, you know how to say it!
Sometimes it's nice not to be bound to a pattern and just set your knitting free.
Prudence Mapstone has done amazing work with her freeform knitting and crochet.
She recently organized this virtual hat exhibition, too.
And if you happen to be in L.A. in December, Ms. Mapstone is conducting classes on freeform and handbags at Wildfiber.
The classes aren't free (hardly!), but having the chance to work with such a talented artist (as those commercials say) is priceless.
