Just in time

It's been cold and balmy and cold and balmy again.

For the cold days, my ears need warming. I bought this kit from Staceyjoy Elkin of RedLipstick.



It was my first attempt at mitered knitting and I loved it. The instructions were clear and easy and this worked up really quickly. When the earwarmer is done, it's all lumpy. You have to wash it with gentle soap in warm water, rinse and flatten and let dry. So fun to watch the transformation.

I wore it all Thanksgiving weekend and it was perfect weather for it.
