Here's our living room after everything was taken out. We spent our last night there, sleeping on the mattress pad you see on the left. It was surreal.
We were treated to a spectacular farewell sunset.
That was Thursday. Got up at 3:00AM Friday to get ready to be picked up at 4:00AM for the airport. By the time we arrived in Albany we were so jet-lagged, freaked out, disoriented....wondering how this new life will be.
We got to the hotel, dropped off our bags and walked in the dark and freezing cold over ice and snow to see our new building. We hadn't seen it in person yet and just needed to know if it was okay. It was.
I'll be back again soon with the next chapter of our new adventure.
