Lunching with the star

I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Ms. Annie Modesitt, the Knitting Heretic herself, for a lovely lunch in sunny Santa Monica.

After quite a stressful week back East, it was wonderful to have the chance to spend a little time with Annie during her busy week, here in SoCal.

I felt so happy and relaxed on the way home, like I had a mini-vacation from what's been going on here lately.
