They're also knitting and riding across the pond in England for a while now. The group is called Cast Off and here are some photos of the members knitting on the tube.

Mr. Nick's Knitting is the sweetest story of a man who knits on the train on the way to work. I used to read it to my daughter when we took the subway into Manhattan.

I'm sure crochet caravans can't be far behind.
