Butterflies are free...
And all over L.A. and other parts of California.
I saw literally hundreds flying around and wondered what was going on.
Turns out the rains accelerated the birth and migration of painted lady butterflies.
It was an amazing sight and you can hear all about it on this NPR report here.
I'll try and see if I can take a photo today.
