The rain is gone..
And so is part of my neighborhood.
It wasn't until I took a walk near the bluffs, where I often go and gaze out at the ocean, that I found out a good part of it is now gone!!
There is a huge crack in it now and I was afraid to walk on it to further see how much damage had occurred. Some families had been evacuated below the bluffs, but they'll probably be able to go home. Thankfully, it's nothing on the scale of the devastation of La Conchita. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families who were affected by those deadly mudslides.
