As a tribute to my cousins Tina and Diane, my pal Charnelle, Elizabeth, new friend Jee and women everywhere, I just signed up for the Komen Race for the Cure.
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month , so be informed, be proactive and pass the word about the importance of mammograms, self-exams and early detection.
