What's a Funvelope?
According to this book, The Envelope Mill , it's an envelope made from recycling magazine pages, calendars, sheet music...you get the idea. The book comes with three templates and it so easy and fun to do.
I know we all don't send as much snail mail as we used to, but it's still fun to send a letter or use these for gift cards. I saved a lot of the photo layouts of Martha Stewart Living and Lucky magazines to make mine. Anything with a repeating pattern comes out great.
Here's some recent ones I just made:

To use them for mailing, all you need are some plain white labels to write the address on and that's it. It's a great way to use up your 2002 calendars and all the catalogs you are getting right now, too.
P.S. Bead and yarn catalogs are especially great!
